2008 - A task Odissey
August 26th, 2008Trial and error, baby!
August 21st, 2008OK, so we are now closer than ever to our goal of having an interactive and participatory Teelook Blog.
Some of you may notice the changes (You better!):
We basically widgetized the place.
We started by including the bookmarkify plugin so that readers can submit our wonderful posts to their favorite social bookmarking site.
Then we added the Followme plugin, that basically generates those small little icons you see on the sidebar, posting all the relevant places where visitors can find us online and interact with us.
Finally, and I saved the best for the end, we added the Digsby Plugin. This generates the cute chat box you can see on the top of the sidebar that any teelooker can use to drop us a line or two (or more, that’s up to you). How teerrific is that, huh?
So from now on, no more excuses. We are now a part of your universe, literally one (maybe two) click away.
Here’s a preview of our beta-stage last tee. yeah, you deserve it, just for getting this far

If you enjoy our work, do youself and teelook a favor: buy a tee and spread the good word about our amazing webstore.
See you soon.
Screw 300: 200 is where it’s at!
August 19th, 2008I am so pleased to inform that our long-lasting small misunderstanding with googlebot seems to be behind us. We are once again indexed in google’s SERP (search engine results page) in the first position.
Oh yeah, in case you’re wondering about the title of this post, no, we are not completely and irredeemably insane. 200 is the http code that a webpage returns to a user client, like a browser or a spider/crawler, that means OK. And this is a big part of what it takes to have your wicked site listed on search engines and directories results pages.
Now, on to Teelook…
We’ve started small, selling a few items, mostly to extended family, friends, and friends of friends. I trust you guys are cool enough to recognize the value of possessing a Teelook involving your hot sexy bodies and impregnating you with style.
We have many new designs, and that’s not all.
We have been working hard on establishing a social network base for future promotion. We have registered accounts with renowned microblogging sites and social networks like twitter, facebook, rejaw, kwippy, beemood, and plan to be networking a lot in the next few months. Above all, we are counting on you to do some word-of-mouth.
Here some new material for you guys to drool over:

If you enjoyed these designs, do yourself and teelook a huge favor: Put out an order in our webstore and have them sent to you. Easy peasy, japanese.
Take care!
Visa and Paypal very very soon
July 21st, 2008Hey gang.
You will all soon have the possibility to order and pay by credit card and/or Paypal. This adds to the many payment options Teelook offers its clients.
For some odd reason, google has replaced Teelook.com with Teelook.pt as the upper most ranked search result. But don’t mind that. Even though you will encounter a portuguese version of the shop, since you are accessing it through a .pt TLD, nevertheless you can simply change the presentation language by clicking on the upper right corner flag for the English language.
Pass the word out to your friends and families on teelook. You are critical to this endeavour!
New domain
July 2nd, 2008Hey!
Guess what - We finally managed to register the domain for the portuguese version of the site - http://teelook.pt
Now PTIsp, our hosting service, is going to develop a php script to redirect traffic so that people get english when entering teelook.com and portuguese when entering teelook.pt. There will be the option on both domains to choose the language, by clicking on a flag-shaped link. Sweet.
I also want to ask you guys to be more active in teelook affairs. We really need your support and strenght. So bookmark us, and tell your friends and relatives about us. Send us your comments on our new designs, and give us suggestions and ideas for collections or particular designs. We can only do it with you!
Drop by our Live TV channel.
We also registered a channel in Stickam.com, in case yahoo Live really loses steam. Because Teelook is interactive!
C Yas!
Teelook sets mode +cool
May 23rd, 2008Hey gang.
New addition to the Kool colection:
“I’m so cool I gave myself a cold”
Ice cubes, some puddles, modern lettering - these are the ingredients of the latest Teelook original creation.
Let’s see how it looks like on a tee…
Hope you guys like it.
This also gave me an idea to develop another one with roughly the same concept. If it becomes reality it will be called “2COOL2HANDLE”.
As always, we urge you guys to register for the blog, become a regular guest at Teelook TV, and pitty please - Take the survey!
Peace!
Trees Rock II
May 21st, 2008
So people, as promissed, here you go: the newest teelook design, fresh out of the oven.
Hope you like it. We are quite happy with it, of course.
We think it will appeal to liberals, environmentalists, vegetarians, and heck, any person that enjoys nature and a good clean joke. Rock on!
Teelook’s new banner!
May 18th, 2008Trees rock
May 17th, 2008Hello guys and girls. It was a quieter week for teelook. Still, there were a few points worth noticing:
First and foremost, we got our fist 2 tshirts. We really liked the way the “Feeling good” design turned out, so, we’re sticking to that design, in plastisol ink. The “Rabelo”, although cool 2, we felt that it could be better achieved in Poli-Flex, so we ordered a sample tee. Next week will dictate our decision.
We’ve been preparing our current designs for printing. It takes a lot of work. The designs have to be optimized, by doing all sorts of vector operations from fusing to cutting, so that in the end there’s only one layer to the drawing and every object that was previously behind another, gets removed. In short, it’s about removing everything that will not be seen, from the drawing.
We had more ideas for designs. We are currently working on “Trees Rock”, and we’ll follow that with “I get wood from trees”.
Bookmark us, rate us, watch us live.
Peace.
